I am proud to announce that our crowd sale has ended as of 17:59 Beijing time, January 17 2018, and that THEKEY’s very first Token Generation Event (TGE) has been a resounding success!
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincerest gratitude to all of our investors and community members for your support, and to also to salute the community managers whom worked around the clock — even when exhausted — while the rest of us were asleep or happily enjoying our holidays. In this regard:
ü Every token you have acquired and contributed is highly appreciated;
ü Every comment and suggestion you have made has been clearly heard; and
ü Every contribution towards the success of this TGE will always be remembered!
The Crash of January 15th
Finally, I would like also to take this opportunity to apologize for the repeated computer crashes, volume restrictions and other challenges you may have experienced during our TGE, especially during our recent crowd sale phase. Your expressions of anger and disappointment were clearly heard and fully understood. The well meaning but inappropriate actions or events that triggered these comments emerge as the painful mistakes we made amidst an otherwise incredibly successful first-ever TGE.
We apologize profusely for any inconvenience they may have caused you.
Upon aggressive reflection, we have looked at these negatives outcomes for lessons and wisdom, and have no intention of making the same mistakes twice.
Further to the above, and in honor of our ongoing commitment to transparency, THEKEY entered into an agreement with a certified accounting firm in Singapore, on 11th Jan. Together we have already begun the complicated task of auditing our first-ever TGE. Once their report is delivered, we will ensure that it is made public for all investors and community members to review.
Thereafter an AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) event will be held in a highly transparent manner. In this activity I will share all of the experiences we have gained, and the lessons learned, across this, our first TGE. Going forward, during this AMA and beyond, your clear and authentic comments and suggestions will be extremely important to us. Our best-case outcome, of course, will be the betterment and improvement of our capacity to manage both future ICOs, and indeed, our continued current development and deployment of THEKEY.
We are absolutely sincere in our request for your valuable feedback — and are happy for this opportunity to express the depth of our desire to serve you better!
Moving Forward
While THEKEY’s first TGE has now come to its end our Long March has just started.
Blockchain technology is still in its infancy, and we are addressing challenges on all fronts. We are clearly recognizing a long and challenging path ahead in pursuit of the many business objectives we have set for our selves and our company.
Having said the above, upon closing out our first ever TGE:
ü More resources will be injected into project development than originally planned. We, at THEKEY, believe neither in technology bubbles nor pure luck; we believe in hard work, sweat and tears. Please observe that we will presently maintain a low profile while maintaining total focus on generating successive high quality, on-time and concrete results.
ü More resources will be also injected into our commitment to community development. We have no plans to run away from you just because our TGE has concluded. To the contrary, we now plan to work far more closely with you — our community. You were and will always be the major driving force behind the undeniable success of THEKEY.
