–Collaboration with Kaifeng Branch of ICBC
In order to implement the “Guiding Opinions of the State Council on Actively Promoting the “Internet +” Action” ([2015] №40 Document of the State Council), the “Outline of Action for Promoting Big Data Development” ([2015] №50 Document of the State Council), “Internet + Renshe” 2020 Action Plan” ([2016] №105 Document of Ministry of Human Resource and Social Security of the PRC) and enable Kaifeng citizens to effectively enjoy the convenience of “Internet + medical insurance services”, THEKEY and the Kaifeng Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) jointly undertook the construction of the “Kaifeng City Smart Social Insurance + Smart Hospital Project” starting from October 2019. The project upholds the principle of providing convenient services for users in Kaifeng, and aims to largely decrease the time for registration and waiting in line and extend medical treatment for patients.
After months of hard work, the first phase of the project was officially launched in November 2020 in which THEKEY identity verification technology and mobile Internet technology are deployed to efficiently process social insurance business such as online management, online registration, and clinic settlement. The portable features of mobile phones, ICBC Finance and Commerce APP and Kaifeng Renshe APP are fully applied and included in the medical procedures. On the premise of ensuring the safety of the medical insurance fund, the current medical procedures of hospitals have been dramatically optimized, the operating costs of the hospitals have been lowered, and users have been provided with better experiences.
Based on state-of-the-art technical architecture, THEKEY will continue to adhere to the core concept of “patient-centered, people-oriented” product design, integrate years of accumulations of experience in the medical insurance, medical industry and identity verification technology, and actively promote the development of the second phase of the Kaifeng Smart Medical Insurance Project, and will also make full use of blockchain technology to bring the intelligence of Kaifeng’s social insurance and medical services to the next level.
