THEKEY Selected as Top 100 Chinese Blockchain Application Enterprises of Year 2020

Over the past year, the blockchain industry has witnessed the rise of digital currencies, the recognition of blockchain technology by many countries and the deeper discussions of the supervision of industry standards.
According to the “2019 Global Blockchain Enterprise Invention Patent Ranking”, the top 100 companies on the list are mainly from 10 countries and regions. Among them, China ranks first with 63%.
As one of the countries that first explored and studied blockchain technology, China is far ahead in the number of patent applications. With the further liberalization of China’s blockchain policy, more resources are believed to be invested in it, which indicated that the country still hold tremendous potential in the blockchain field.
In October 2019, Chairman Xi Jinping emphasized that blockchain technology should be fully used for core independent innovation and urged for the acceleration of the development of blockchain technology and industrial innovation, which not only stimulated an upsurge of interest in the blockchain industry, but dramatically promoted the acceleration of blockchain applications.
In the first quarter of 2020, 7 provinces and cities in China have listed more than 20 blockchain projects as key industrial development projects and key investment projects, with a total investment of several billion yuan.
